Scot Sax plays drums, guitar, bass, piano and harmonica and has been writing and singing songs since he was 13.
1995 Scot Sax forms and fronts pop-rock band Wanderlust. The band signs to RCA Records. First single "I Walked" penned by Sax goes to #1 on rock stations around the country as the band tours US and Canada with Collective Soul. Of the debut album the Sunday London Times says "One of the greatest rock albums of all time".
1996 Scot and the band open for The WHO.
1998 Wanderlust tours Europe, appears on Cocoa Krispies cereal box and peforms final show at LA's Viper Room
1999 Sax moves to Los Angeles and lands publishing deal at Warner/Chappell as a full time writer where he writes with Jason Mraz, Jennifer-Love-Hewitt, Paul Williams, John Rich and others. His song "I Am The Summertime" is featured in the Summer blockbuster American Pie as Sax tours England with his new band Bachelor Number One and signs with british label Edel UK for a European release of "I Am The Summertime"
2000 Gold Record is awarded to Scot for million-selling American Pie Soundtrack.
2001 Scot forms rock band FEEL and signs a record deal and publishing deal with Curb Records.
2002 Scot and FEEL tour the US while their singles "Got Your Name On It" and "Won't Stand In Your Way" receive national airplay on AAA and Hot AC radio stations.
2003 FEEL release 2 more albums independently, Scot meets Nashville's John Rich of Big And Rich to collaborate.
2004 Sax' songs are featured on networks CBS, Lifetime, E! Entertainment etc.
2005 "Like We Never Loved At All" a song written by Scot, John Rich and Vicky McGeehe and performed by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw goes to the top of the charts worldwide. The song receives a GRAMMY.
2006 Scot receives ASCAP Award for "Like We Never Loved At All" in Nashville.
2007 Scot discovers soulful singer-writer Sharon Little in Philadelphia. The two write and perform together and after a year of touring Sax signs Sharon to a Major Label (to be announced) in Los Angeles.
2008 Scot performs with Sharon Little as they open for Robert Plant and Alison Krauss on tour
Present: Scot Sax is teaching a Songwriting Class at University Of The Arts in Philadalphia, writing in Nashville, performing with Sharon Little and hosting Open Mic Night at Milkboy in Bryn Mawr, PA. His songs recently have appeared on the hit NBC show "Men In Trees". He continues to perform both as a solo artist and with his band SAXploitation.
